Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the things people ask most often.

Is ResumeSpark free?

Yes. You can build, edit and export a resume on the free plan with no card needed. Free exports include a small ResumeSpark watermark; remove it with Pro, which also unlocks premium templates, the full ATS review, job-description tailoring and advanced AI help.

Should I add a photo, date of birth or address on my resume in India?

For an ATS-friendly resume, keep personal details to your name, phone, email, city and LinkedIn. A photo and date of birth are not needed and can hurt parsing, and a full address is not required.

What does Pro cost?

₹499 for one month or ₹1,299 for three months, paid by UPI, card or net banking. Pro is only switched on after the payment is confirmed by the payment provider.

Will my resume pass applicant tracking systems?

Our templates use plain, selectable text with standard headings, and the ATS review explains each check it runs. No tool can guarantee a score at a specific employer, so we show you the reasoning rather than a promise.

Which formats can I export?

PDF (A4 or Letter), Word (.docx) and plain text. You can also publish a read-only web link and turn it off at any time.

Can I import an existing resume?

Yes — upload a PDF or text file, paste your text, or restore a JSON backup. Anything the parser misses can be fixed in the editor.

Where is my data stored?

Your resumes are stored in your account and are private to you unless you publish a share link. See the privacy page for details.
